Vejer has a handful of interesting monuments within its historical center, declared a historical and artistic complex. Beautiful churches, walls, castles and centuries-old doors make up a great part of its charm.

The city of Vejer de la Frontera has one of the prettiest and best preserved Historical-artistic complex.

Due to its eminently defensive character, the old village of Vejer is surrounded by the walled enclosure, whose layout is irregular as it adjusts to the levels of the terrain. It is flanked by four doors: Arco de La Segur, Arco de Sancho IV, Arco de la Villa and Arco de la Puerta Cerrada.

And for three towers: Torre del Mayorazgo, Torre de San Juán and Torre de la Corredera.

From the walled enclosure we can visit the following monuments:

Parish Church of the Divine Savior

Castle

Convent of the Conceptionist Nuns

House of the Mayorazgo

Spain Square

Palace of the Marqués de Tamarón
