There are many ways to reach La Galbana

From the Airport

– Nearest airports to Vejer are Jerez de la Frontera (54 km /34 miles.), Gibraltar (96 km /59 miles.), Seville (158 km /98 miles.) and Málaga (210 km /130 miles).

 

– All airports have reliable RENT A CAR services.

 

– From Jerez airport there are trains and buses to San Fernando and Cádiz city, with buses taking you on to the centre of Vejer. There are also buses from nearby Jerez city centre direct to Vejer.

 

– Taxis. If you wish, we can arrange a Taxi or private car service to pick you up or drop you off at any destination of your choice.

Public Transport

– There are direct Trains to Cadiz City and San Fernando (Bahia Sur station) from Seville, Córdoba and Madrid.

 

– From Bahia Sur station there is a nearby Bus service in San Fernando which will bring you to the centre of Vejer. At Cadiz City train & bus Station there are direct buses to Vejer.

 

– Taxis. If you wish, we can arrange a Taxi or private car service to pick you up or drop you off at any destination of your choice.

By Car

– Vejer de la Frontera is at Km. 36.5 on road N-340 from Algeciras to Cádiz.

 

– The Map below shows our suggested best way to arrive, get Paseo de las Cobijadas, 12, this will bring you to the bottom end of Calle Merced, where you will find La Galbana

Streets in Vejer are very narrow and GPS systems tend to give inconvenient directions; this is the reason why we include our map.

Watch out! Our recommended route begins 3 metres to the right of the point where the road to Barbate starts (A-314 or CA-2023) off of the new roundabout. Drive up to the top of A-2229, before you enter the village take the first left fork. After approximately 400 m. along this road leave the car on 12 Paseo de las Cobijadas. This is where Merced street ends and where you will find La Galbana.
